Snow Day!

I didn't have to go in to work today due to the snowstorm, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take a picture of one of the trees that I've made. I'm hoping to make a whole miniature Winter Wonderland, but sheesh it's slow going. I'm sure it will get faster once I know what I'm doing, but something tells me it might only be a Winter Wondercorner by the time Christmas rolls around.

On a similarly wintery note: I love these mittens that were made by Anny Purls. The pattern came from Ellephantom Knits, and I might need to whip myself up a pair (you know, in between making a forest of rick-rack trees set in a Winter Wonderland, gathering gifts for my loved ones, and actually going to work when the snow lets up).

That tree reminds me of all the old Rudolph movies with the forest animals. Cute!!!

Beautiful tree, and baby bambi. I love those mittens too, they look like peppermint.

Lovely tree. Miss Martha has nothing on you, my dear.
